Start your day with a good laugh

If laughter is the best medicine, this story will heal you completely, if only temporarily.

SEEING ALITO CLEARLY w/POLL that might make you think

Wed Jan 11, 2006 at 10:07:42 PM PDT

I see people complain about short "Two paragraph" diaries and I don't at all understand the problem. What I don't like are the 40 paragraph models that could have been cut to 3. With that in mind, here's my tiny Diary of the day.

Mike Moore AND DEMS IN CONGRESS had the facts PRIOR to war

Sun Nov 06, 2005 at 07:42:09 PM PDT

The next time you hear a Democrat claim he/she was fooled into voting to give Bush his war, remember the letter Michael Moore sent to Bush BEFORE it even began. I think his words have great relevance today. That letter after the fold...

Here comes the sun W/POLL

Fri Oct 14, 2005 at 12:03:23 AM PDT

I'd like to make two important points...

After reading 1001 posts on how the world is coming to an end I'd like to point out the contrast in America today and America in 2002, 2003 and 2004. The Nazi party then had full control over our lives and we couldn't even begin to see daylight.

Compare response to Katrina with that of Isabel 2003

Tue Sep 06, 2005 at 07:38:13 PM PDT

Even prior to the landing of hurricane Isabel in September 2003, the National Guard was rescuing people and moving those who had no way to move themselves. The response to Isabel, as documented below, testifies well to the dubious nature of our lack of response to Katrina.

Call the police, we've all been burglarized

Wed Aug 31, 2005 at 09:38:54 PM PDT

A burglar throws his partner gold and money from a second story window only because feels certain the guy won't run off with his goods. He can be confident of this because he knows the man depends on him to be there to throw him another man's treasure from another window some other night. For this reason, and contrary to popular belief, there is in fact some degree of what could be called 'honor' among thieves. We are now seeing this same principle at work on a much larger scale with the Bush government and it's relationship with corporate America.

To George Bush and his greedy supporters this Iraq thing has been nothing more than one long fuck

Tue Aug 30, 2005 at 09:14:47 AM PDT

The promise of a good quick mutual
climax (cut roses, oil money for all and free Iraqis singing in the streets)
drove them straight to penetration sans foreplay. (diplomacy)

Don't let Hagel fool you, while he's dissing Bush he's scamming YOU

Mon Aug 29, 2005 at 03:03:05 AM PDT

Does anyone think it odd that Chuck Hagel is making a bigger stink over George Bush's Iraq policy than damn near anyone else in government? Except for the occasional peep of dissent here and there, all of DC stands behind Bush. (Or are simply too chickenshit to speak out) So just how does Republican Hagel rate what has become 'the privilege' of free speech?
